charity quilts finish + winner

hello Friday!
let’s begin by announcing the winner of the gift certificate to my etsy shop….

this past week, I have been finishing up some charity quilts….
our church Sunday School program is donating some quilts to local organizations to distribute to kids in crisis situations. I brought home six quilt tops to finish….

I thought some remix prints would make perfect binding!

you might notice that I opted for a different binding finish…
I sewed the binding on the backside and brought to the front to machine finish. I was in a tight deadline and I figured machine sewing the binding would help it hold up longer…
