figgy pudding sewing + giveaway

hello Monday!
figgy pudding sewing
so, a very long time ago, I cut out this Figgy Pudding project…I am still in love with this line! I remember the first time I saw it in my local shop and how I fell for it! I still enjoy sewing up projects with it!

originally I thought I would make a Christmas quilt for my daughter, but she wasn’t too wild about this fabric line…

I then realized that several of these blocks sewn together makes a fabulous tablerunner!

and so that is what I am doing…

using this fabric for the back is probably my favorite part…this piece is actually from Basicgrey’s line after Figgy Pudding called Fruitcake…I just love this piece!!
please tell me I am not the only one who cuts up pieces for a project only to discover a new usage for them…

leave me a comment and I will announce a winner on Friday…

Oh who doesn’t love dots in any color for a baby quilt. Yes I have made things that had started out as a different project only to have new idea pop up in midstream.

I adore these fabrics as well. I am making a Christmas quilt with these along with some others. I fell in love with the brown and turquoise. And the back of my quilt is the same fabric you are using for your back…. I just love the large print!
