Who isn’t guilty??Few of us I think. But it is always a nice surprise to find something hiding in a corner someplace. I like the pink star fabric. By the way the bib was darling.

those fabrics are pretty. looking forward to seeing the mug rugs. I don’t tend to buy fabric unless there is a plan for it.

Sometimes it’s nice to go back and find those pieces you had squirreled away or hidden and is especially exciting when they compliment something else you have so well. It’s like a nice surprise you left for your future self, haha

You are so right about that! A good way to be reminded of the treasures you have is to take a friend into your sewing room and see her get excited about your fabric–you might see it with new eyes then.

You always have the cutest polka dots! They are a big hit at our house, both with the quilter (me) and my resident consultant. 🙂

Always! I can’t tell you how many times I buy/order fabric because I love it, then it gets put to the side when it arrives. My drawers have many pretties in them waiting for their projects.

Those are some great fabric combinations for the mug rugs, Brooke!
How fun, to find “lost” fabric!
(Yes… I, too, will get fabrics because I love them… And they might get overlooked/lost for a while!)

Mug rugs are a great idea for using scraps but I usually use them to stand vases on

I think you did good! Love the darker blues you put together. There’s a floral near the top right in your scrap photo that looks pretty!

This always happens to me… the real surprise is discovering a purchase months later!! The frustration is not remembering where a stash was put!!
