My girlfriend in California had shared this great project idea with me. When I saw hers in person, I was hooked! I still had French General fabric leftover and decided that I JUST had to try out this idea. Well this week I made some time to do just that. Here are the blocks I have finished so far. The first photo is of my blocks. The second photo is my girlfriend’s quilt. I am planning on finishing this top soon, be watching! ***Saturday morning, well I ran into a little hiccup with this project. I finished up the blocks, laid them out and realized the quilt was a lot smaller than my friend’s. So I called her and discovered she made hers larger, but I neglected to notice that! So I now need to make 14 more blocks! She is graciously sending me some leftover fabric as I had used much of mine up. I think this is just a good excuse to buy more fabric! LOL Everyone needs a quilting buddy like my dear friend.
