Over the past weekend I found time to finish up yet another Beige Wedding Quilt. This one is for my hubby’s niece who is getting married later this summer. I enjoy doing these neutral quilts for wedding gifts.

Turtle Border Blocks…
This past week I FINALLY finished piecing the difficult half triangle border blocks for the Turtle Quilt! Hooray!! I still have another set of border blocks to do, but they only have three half square triangles in each one. I thought you might like to see how the quilt looks now. Enjoy!
Another one done!
As I promised quite awhile ago, here is the Caterpillar quilt all finished and listed in my Etsy shop for sale. I do love this quilt! I guess that is why I have made three of them and still have enough to make one more. I just had to share a couple of photos with […]
Freebird takes flight!
Remember the wonderful fabric I bought in California with my girlfriend? Well this weekend I decided to start something fresh as my projects have hit some roadblocks. So I sewed my charm pack from MoMo’s new line into 4-patches and added some set squares cut from the same line. Then I set them on point. […]
Another new project….
My girlfriend in California had shared this great project idea with me. When I saw hers in person, I was hooked! I still had French General fabric leftover and decided that I JUST had to try out this idea. Well this week I made some time to do just that. Here are the blocks I […]
Back in the Saddle Again!
Well a bit ago I posted “Singing the Blues” as one of the feet for my machine had broke and I had to order a replacement. Ahh the joys of living in a small town! LOL Well last week the replacement arrived and I am very happy to say that it works great! So I […]
How About Orange?!
Since many of you LOVED the bright runners I made for my niece’s wedding I have listed this extra orange one in my etsy shop. This is the only color I came home with as the others went out as “Thank You” gifts. Enjoy the day!
Too Cute times 4!!
As I promised here are the four completed bags! I think they really came out great, even my Heidi loves them which for a 10 year old is saying something. LOL They are all listed in my shop if you want to see more photos. They were a fun project!
Too Cute!!!
Yesterday I finally made time in the studio to work on this cute canvas bag from a kit I purchased from Sweetwater. Oh my – it is way too cute!! I have three more to make as they are from the canvas Make Life fabric line. I listed this one in my etsy shop if […]
Singing the Blues
Here is my new runner project using blues and greens. The border fabric was something I bought for Ashley’s wedding quilt, but didn’t like it as a border once the quilt was together. While I was working on this project over the weekend, my darning foot broke 🙁 so it sits until the replacement arrives […]
