I love your fabric choices for the Hungry Caterpillar quilt. It is finally spring in KY, nice enough that we bought plants this weekend. I hope they plant themselves so I can sew!

What a delightful quilt! I know it’s a child’s quilt, but I would like one myself – so colorful and whimsical. And it reminds me of the hundreds of times I’ve read The Very Hungry Caterpillar! As for the fun pile of fabric, I spy a mini charm pack – always fun!

My favourite kids book – I have just been using it with the preschool kids I teach English too and they love it!
I spy Color me Retro – my favourite at the moment!

By the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf. POP!!!
I love this story and I spy some toweling that I could use for the back of bibs – that is the best I can do for eating and food in the scraps. But there are cars and flowers and all sorts of lovelies in that bundle.
Thanks so much for sharing your fabrics and ideas.

My son participated in a Father Reads program in prison and this was one of the books he narrated into a tape recorder and sent the tape and book to his children. They still have both, tattered and torn, but when they miss him, they pop in his tape and listed to this story! Great job on the quilt!

This is one of my favourite children’s books, too. I keep a stash of them for baby gifts. The fabric line truly replicates the book. LOVE!
