This lovely bundle of the Sweetest Thing is on its way to Sasha!! Hooray!!! I am emailing you….
A week ago, I headed out on a field trip (a visit to my LQS) in search of white Kona….look what I found along the way….love those frogs!!
This piece was in the same grouping….now what would you do with it?? Would you combine them?? Would you add any other colors?? I can’t wait to hear what you share!! Happy Sewing!

I love both fabrics! Although the colors work together, I think the styles are completely different. So I would not put them together.
The frogs are happy and fun. Would be adorable as a valance in the bathroon or to trim some primary colored towels.
The birds and dandelions are whimsical and soft, very girly. Maybe some throw pillows or an apron?
I love them!!! I would use them together; the watercolor artwork and whimsy works. I would combine with soft solids! Who is it?!? What designer/manufacturer?
I LOVE both of these fabrics! I wouldn’t use them together, as I think they are each worthy of being featured in baby quilt by combining them with an assortment of blenders. I would also like to know the name of the collection and/or manufacturer. I might have to go on a hunt for these!
hmmm wow I agree with both the other commenters. I think you are safe either way. I do love the bottom one a lot. such a great print and what fantastic colors, ones you do not see a lot! you will come up with something fabulous!
Congratulations to Sasha!
I’d use both fabrics – maybe add a solid or something geometric!!
The frogs ar so fun that I would use them somewhere where I could see them and smile at them everyday – maybe a toaster cover? The other fabric is just lovely – it would make great patches in a quilt. Thanks for sharing the photos!
I have just tested a pattern for Sara at sewsweetness called the Velocity Girl bag. I would use this fabric and try to find a solid colour in the purple to make this bag. It is too cute and would look brilliant in this design, if you used the flowers for the lining and the frogs for the pockets etc.
Thanks for sharing, I will keep an eye out for this as I love it.
Ooh, I love those fabrics together! I think I would pull some of the pink and mauvey colors for coordinating fabrics? And they are so cute that I’d want to make something I would see or use each day, and it could cheer me up! Can’t wait to see what you make…I know it will be great!
Congratulations to Sasha!
i really like the dandelions, but would not put them with the frogs. My choice would be some soft lilac and dusty pink solids.
