hello Monday and a giveaway

When new fabrics arrives….I just want to dive into a new project!  Probably not always the best idea 12 days before Christmas….hmmmm…..

See the magazine ad??  I had been drooling over the fabric combo and so was thrilled when the fabrics that arrived at my house included these pieces – sweeeeet!!

Here are a couple of the placemats ready to cut batting….

Of course there was a ton of daytime activities this weekend, so I ended up doing sewing/quilting in the darker hours of the day….not my favorite at all!

Trimmed and ready for binding…

Two finished….two more to go!  One of my projects on my list today….how is that “to do” list coming??  Mine is getting longer, not shorter….oh dear!

Giveaway for the week….some pretty yummy goodies in there…what jumps out to you??

Just thought I would share a bit of the snow….enjoy!  Happy Sewing!
