I love the shabby chic look of your table runner and have always wanted one, but never gotten around to making one. I’m pregnant now, so I’m spending this Christmas getting as many projects for family members done that I can. I suspect I won’t have as much time after the baby to do such things. ehh yeah .. student dorm inhabitant here .. I have a desk covered in papers and a table buried under fabrics with a tiny corner set aside for sewing … so it’s definitely going to be a gift.
I think it would be perfect for mum as she hates to wash table clothes when the get crumbs and flecks on them … but with table runners you don’ta ctually “eat” on them ..
This would be for me. I don’t think I would only use it at Christmas time I think the colors would work well anytime of the year.It came out beautifully.
