Any Ideas??

First off I apologize for the picture quality – for whatever reason – probably operator error – these pictures are not the best.
Now on to my dilemna – what fabric line would you work with to coordinate with this kitchen? The painting hangs in the kitchen on a wall opposite of the cabinets. While we were out for the graduations, we visited our dear friends. Cheri has done an amazing job with this kitchen redo. I would love to make a runner to coordinate, but am a bit stumped as to what fabrics to select. So I thought I would pose the question to you and see what you have to say. I have so enjoyed your input on other dilemnas. Thoughts??? Happy Friday – oh yes, and the studio is about unpacked and ready to resume creating!!! Hooray!

It is hard to tell but is it dark grey on the cabinets? or a blue grey? I think Silent Cinema in the blues would be nice with it. They even have tiny bits of yellow to pick up the yellowin the painting.

I agree with Jewel — something with grey and yellow in it. The lemons in the background of the picture really pop.

I like the yellows and greens and the blue in in the painting. I’m not a big green lover unless it is the RIGHT green. I was stuck growing up as a girl with an olive green gross room.. and hated it.. that has stuck with me.. but the green in that painting is wonderful and would look cheerful in any room!

The gray and yellow idea would work. I also like the idea of something with blue in it to tie the painting in. Seems like with that painting you need something pretty modern and hip…Like Amy Butler or Joel Dewberry. I like the idea of Joel Dewberry fabrics with your set up. It’s really pretty! (the kitchen, that is)

Is this Shawn and Cheri’s kitchen? If so, I’m laughing that I’m seeing it from states and states away. 🙂 I love it!

I don’t know if you’ve already selected the fabrics, but Aviary 2 is what popped in my mind first–a combination of the Saffron & Granite colorways. It’s just hard to tell what the blues are in real life.

    Can’t wait to see it!
