So did you finish the sentence in your head – “for Ducklings!” This is a favorite story of mine and then of course my kiddos too!
Some of you know I LOVE to bike and so I thought I would share this scene from my new route. I love riding around these lakes in town, did you see that – LAKES! There are several geese families with new gosslings I greet each day. I enjoy watching them cross the road, just like in Robert McCloskey’s story, in fact I recite the story in my head when I see them ;)! The Mama is very protective of her babies and hisses at me to make sure I will stay away!
So in that same vein, make way for new fabric – Julie at The Intrepid Thread carries such great fabric lines and often tempts me – so here is what I purchased this time. Some Sherbet pips, Silent Cinema, Prince Charming by Tula and Kumari Holiday by Dena – love ’em all and can’t wait to create!
Happy Friday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!

Sorry for the blogger problems, I don’t know what has happened!
Oh my goodness… I used to read the Sesame Street Version to Erin when she was little and she always finished the sentence too… It was Make way for Elmo and his duckies. She whispered in the library and shouted it int he street LOL
LOL! I just got a package from Julie the other day, too! I hope to show it next week! 🙂
Looks like all is going well! Take care, Brooke.
The bake trail is wonderful. Love the geese.
