let the adventure begin and a giveaway

On Friday’s late post….I left you as I was packed and headed to Houston for Fall Market!!

My dear friends – Julie from the Intrepid Thread and Sally of Sally’s Angelworks – let the Market adventure begin!  Sally is the best hostess as Julie and I both live far away from Houston!

Fun new fabrics!  My gift from Julie….thanks so much!

Sally made Julie and I these adorable cloth baskets with goodies we might have forgotten….which I usually forget something….

We began our adventure with Schoolhouse….look I finally got them to spell my name correctly!!

One of our first meet-ups – Elizabeth of Don’t Call Me Betsy!  fun, fun!

The amazing Amanda of the Quilted Fish!  Sally, Julie and I did lunch with Amanda!

I truly enjoyed this Schoolhouse….anyone have a guess who the designer is??

The giveaway of the week…some fun goodies in here….what calls to you??  Hope that you are game for lots of Market photos!  It was an amazing experience…I have some fun planned so stay tuned!  Happy Sewing!

Great scraps as ever – some herringbone??

  5. Lisa Marie October 28, 2013 at 8:57 am #

I believe the designer is Carolyn Friedlander. I saw a photo of her booth on another blog post and was really drawn to her gorgeous things. As usual your scraps are lovely. I like the fabric with little purple flowers which surprises me as I usually don’t care much for purple. Also, I see some Christmas things in there which I am particularly interested in this time of year. Have a blast at market!
