Love a Challenge – good friends mixing with new friends

Aside from gazing at amazing quilts in yet to be released fabrics….

making a personal connection with designers like the lovely Vanessa Christenson of V and Co….

Friends new and dear make it the best!  So in the above picture left to right – Becca, Tammy, Julie, me, Vanessa, Joanna and Sally.
As we were visiting around and with Vanessa, she handed each of us a 2.5 charm pack of Color Me Happy – yipppeee!!!
So, Joanna suggested we do a challenge project….below is the amazing poem that graced our emails once we returned from Market….

Hear ye, hear ye,
One and all.
Here’s the challenge,
Heed the call.

The 14th of February,
this Valentine’s hence,
a photo exchange,
6 participants.

Poor rhyming’s allowed,
just sew up your best.
Vanessa’s new line,
and solids the rest.

I thought you might enjoy seeing all of the fabrics we will be playing with over the next few months as we embark on this challenge….should be loads of fun!
I, for one, would love any project ideas anyone has!
Happy Sewing!
