a Monday morning quiz and a giveaway

Remember all these lovely squares from last week??

While I cannot quite yet reveal the final project…..I can give you a few peaks…..

Any guesses??  So here is the Monday morning pop quiz – if you correctly guess the project, I will send you a few fat quarters from these fabrics….how does that sound??

Once my project was complete, these fabrics were still calling to me….

I did some experimenting….I saw somewhere online the idea of using batting or in my case, interfacing as a foundation…..

I made these two zippered pouches….too fun!  Click here and here to see more pictures….

The weekly giveaway…fun, fun fabrics!  What fun fabrics do you see??  Happy Sewing!

I think it is some kind of giant star quilt with the squares in the middle. I am equating star with super hero? 🙂

    I hope it’s a pieced bed skirt — wouldn’t that be fun in a kid’s room?

  12. Kay October 7, 2013 at 8:36 am #

Bunting is my first thought but it is not the kind of thing you usually make. So I am guessing a child’s quilt made with super huge half triangles.

Wow, it could be anything. There appears to be both a girl and boy version so I’m going to guess trick-or-treat bags. It is almost Halloween…. and I also spy some lovely feathers.
