On Monday, while catching up in blogland, I was challenged and inspired by Maureen Cracknell.
She shared about making pillowcases for Sandy Hook Elementary.
Quilter’s Corner, a local quilt shop in Connecticut is collecting pillowcases.
I found a great tutorial at Seasoned Homemaker.
I have to admit that I really, really like how these turned out!
I shipped them off yesterday….
I believe the goal is to collect 600 and distribute them after the holiday break. Want to join me?? I decided this would be a tangible way to express my sympathy at such a horrible tragedy.
Your pillowcases are perfect. I think it’s a wonderful idea. I’m still in shock over everything that has happened 🙁
Catching up on your blog. I LOVE these!!! So cute! Well done!
