I love the grey fabric with words on it. I make quilts for Quilts for Kids. Charity work is so important.

A lot of groups make quilts for a variety of causes. I remember about 20 years ago when I had pneumonia I took my favorite quilt with me to the ER and was glad I had it during my week stay in the hospital. A handmade quilt is always a welcomed gift. I love scraps.
    xx, Carol

this is wonderful that your church does this. have fun. when i do something like this i tend to pray for the recipient while sewing. for me it keeps it all in perspective.

What a wonderful bundle of fabrics for a charity quilt. It amazes me to see how often these bundles of seemingly diverse fabrics are turned into warm pieces of art. I look forward to seeing this progress Brooke!

I see some blue fabrics that would go well in a quilt.

I really like the grey fabric with words on it. Our local quilt guild is making lap quilts for veterans in the veteran hospital. We also make quilts for the local boy ranch, Pasty house ( abused children shelter).

I love to make quilts for benefits and Relay for Life. Have also made some for Linus. Your scraps are always so interesting. Especially like the gray one that has writing on it. Thanks for what you do.

Love the text/word fabric. My quilt guild does a lot of donation quilts and I also donate to whatever group makes a request. I can’t keep them all and my family and friends have more than enough also. I have to sew because it is therapeutic for me. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.

Oh, I love the idea of making sets in-between sewing other projects. The leaders and enders idea. I’ll have to add that to my sewing routine.
Thanks for the giveaway! I love text fabrics and bold colors/prints, so I spy all sorts of fun!

I really like the simple four patch! I spy a text fabric scrap.

The text fabrics always take my eye for some reason. LOL That’s so nice of your church to make the quilts. I’m the only one that sews in my church groups, or at least the only one that admits they sew. I’ve done a lot, but the time is limited now for sure.
I saw where a group makes quilts for Pilots for Patients in a town a few hours from here. They fly patients from one hospital to another for free. The group makes quilts for them to give whoever they fly which is so comforting at a time like that.
