next up would be one not quite finished…these are blocks I started a bit ago using some of the divine basicgrey Figgy Pudding and Fruitcake lines…some of my favorites!

so this was a project my older daughter inspired me to do….I asked if she needed handmade gifts for teachers…I am in love with Alison Glass Holiday line! I love the bright! I had seen when scrolling in Instagram, this tree idea and knew that Amy Smart had a great tutorial. so there you go…these were born plus two more and I love them!!! you can see a finished one here

well…with that I am signing off…planning on enjoying some much anticipated family time…not sure if I will be back before the New Year….

so I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Happy Sewing!

these are so pretty. absolutely take the rest of the year off and enjoy with family. I am also one of those last minute sewing projects for Christmas. I keep telling myself to start earlier, but it just doesnt work.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Brooke! I really enjoy last-minute Christmas sewing. With holiday music in the background and festive fabrics at my fingertips, it really helps to bring on the cheer of the season for me. Just this past weekend, a friend asked if I could make memory pillows out of a few flannel shirts. She’s such a great friend, so I’m now busy figuring this one out. Lots of tutorials online that are helping. Sure wish the flannels were red and green!
