confetti dots

aaahhhh….dots…confetti ombre dots to be exact and in blue and green makes it even better!!!

I received an email from Emily Dennis and it featured this fabric in a kit….swooon! I am a sucker for kits! so I jumped in and bought it…now what project to make…I know originally it was for the Hexi Pop pattern, but I am thinking something else…hit me with your ideas….

    Oh what lovely fabrics. I LOVE dots. Wouldnt these make lovely plus signs? What a fun summer project this would make, like a table runner. Have a great day. Looking forward to what these become.

    I love love love the ombre confetti dots. These would be so cool in any modern quilt!!! I’m thinking about the Allison Glass Feathers pattern it would look great.

    I like Lori’s suggestion to use these for plus signs. Of course I think polka dots go with EVERYTHING so the possibilities are really unlimited.

    Not sure how big the dots are, but how about a modern EPP hexi quilt. The sort where you machine quilt the hexis onto the base fabric with a space between each hexagon. You could colour wash the hexis….

    Oh my gosh. All I want to do is pet them! I’d probably do some kind of strippy thing, letting the ombre-ness do the work, breaking the fabric up with solids. Do you know what I mean? Long strips, cut up, with solids in between that will make it look like you did something complicated when it is really just this gorgeous fabric enchanting us.
