I love love love these fabric designs – I went to the Intrepid Thread’s “Coming Soon” page just to look at the whole collection!!!
As for banners, how about making each piece of the banner (like pennants or scallops or something that mimics the fabric design) with a reverse applique letter (so the whole thing spells out “DELIGHTED”? You’d need 2 fabrics per letter (top and letter fabrics) so if you did them in all different fabrics you’d use almost all of the fabrics in the entire collection just on those letters! Whew – that’s a lot of work, but you’re a quilter – you aren’t scared by that, right?! 🙂

Oh, and for a fun banner string, you could go with some bias tape in a solid color to match, or my personal favorite – laundry line!
Whatever you do, make sure you get some pictures so we can see 🙂

This is a great fabric line. Looks as if the pennant fabric might be a great start for a banner idea.
