designing projects with Wonder + giveaway

hello Monday!

designing with Wonder
so last Monday I introduced Carrie’s new fabric line called Wonder…

designing with Wonder
I also mentioned that I would be doing several posts about Wonder…
so today is the second one…

designing with Wonder
sometimes when brainstorming for a new project…you have to lay all the fabrics out…

designing with Wonder
this time around (if you have been here for awhile, then you know I have sewn for Carrie before)…Windham changed up the requirements just a bit…and projects had to be made with already available patterns…in the past I have had the liberty to design whatever I wanted to do the pattern after the fact…

designing with Wonder
I had several ideas based on seeing the images in an email, but usually once I see fabric in person, something new jumps out at me…
what jumps out at you??
what would you make??

giveaway
and the fabric scrap giveaway for today…
spy something good??
leave me a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…

Happy Sewing!

I think I would choose a modern pattern with larger blocks.

what pretty fabrics together. i agree with putting fabrics together and letting something jump in the brain. these would be fun in a clam shell design or maybe log cabins. have a wonderful Monday.

Wanda fanta quilt, but it would require adding some background fabric from stash.

I think that fabric would work great for improv log cabins. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.

Love how you’re laying the fabrixcs out & “listening” to then…to know what they want to become! šŸ™‚ I do same thing šŸ™‚ Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too! Love the Seahorses!

The fabric colors are bright and cheery! I really can’t think of much right now. My brain is fried, and it takes me forever to decide on a project when I work on something. I know with all of your ideas, whatever you do will work.

    Seahorses!

Iā€™m in Pinwheel mode!!! They are fun and really pop with a white background!

The wanda Fanta pattern is a freebie, I think. Try Pinterest for inspiration. It is a two block paattern from memory, and can be as scrappy as you like. Have fun.

Wow, pretty. That aqua is bold, love to see it in framed or wonky diamonds. Have fun.
