Freebird takes flight!

Remember the wonderful fabric I bought in California with my girlfriend? Well this weekend I decided to start something fresh as my projects have hit some roadblocks. So I sewed my charm pack from MoMo’s new line into 4-patches and added some set squares cut from the same line. Then I set them on point. The photo of fabric is what I am planning to use for setting side triangles. I have a few ideas about borders, but need to see the side triangles on first. This is a variation of a pattern from Quilted Fish that I have. I did accomplish some piecing on other projects, but that is for another post.
