Happy belated birthday. Hope it was super special. Wow your mom did a fabulous job with that tote. Beautiful. And your quilt is gorgeous. I love the quilting also. Really enhances everything.

Beautiful bag and nautical quilt. I believe this was the quilt I fell in love with a few weeks ago. Happy belated bday and thank you for the linky party.

The fabrics are great in your bag and the buttons are a wonderful accent. The quilting on the blue and green quilt accent it wonderfully.

I love the bags. Matching with your mom is sweet. I’d like to know more about the bottom of the bag. Bet you had a really nice birthday too.
    xx, Carol

Reply to Carol (and others): The lining of the bag has an opening during the construction which allows it to be turned right side out. The instructions suggested that instead of closing the opening, to leave it undone so the bag can be turned inside out (again) and be washed, protecting the buttons/embellishments.
To cover the opening and use the bag, a rectangle of cardboard the size of the bottom of the bag inside is slipped inside an envelop made of lining fabric, thereby concealing the cardboard (which strengthens the bag’s flattened bottom). Message Brooke if you are interested in a pattern from the designer.
