hearts and a giveaway

I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for a kit….

so when I saw this blog post on V and Co., I was hooked!

In between games….watching this boy play ball,

I cut out my hearts….

cut some squares…

decided on my arrangement…

sewed them together…

and decorated my mantle…love it!!

Here is the giveaway for the week….now I do need to tell you, we are going to change it a bit….I will draw a winner on Wednesday.  I have something fun planned for Friday!  Happy Sewing!

How fun! We’re in the middle of remodeling our living room and I can’t put up any holiday decoration. My regular stuff is put away, also. So sad. 🙁

Looks like you had fun. I got so behind for Valentine’s Day. We lost our electricity for 3 days last week. We went to our daughter’s house, but got nothing done. Now, they are calling for more on Thursday….ugh! Maybe next year, I’ll get some Valentine’s Day stuff done.

I remember the days of working on a project while watching kids’ activities. I hope to do that with grandchildren as they get a little older.
