today…I am going to begin to share with you my thought process in designing the Pooh Bear quilt for my next grandson…

I have lots of the windy day Pooh Bear fabric and decided to use it as a top and bottom border with the fun framed blocks in the middle…

sewing this project together was a lot like making a t-shirt quilt…just love the Pooh stripe piece as a fun accent…

    Oh, Brooke–having so much of your windy day Pooh was such good luck (or good planning)! Your final layout looks as if you had this plotted all along. Soooo charming.
    Cute scraps! I’m especially taking notice of the lime green grid and the green plaid–is that Denyse Schmidt? They are very different greens and styles and I like them both a lot.

    The Pooh Quilt is coming together nicely! I envy you to be able to lay it out on the floor! I have two little Labradoodles who like to get in the middle of things and I probably couldn’t pull that off!
    The colors in the giveaway are fresh and Spring like and make me smile!

    Precious Pooh quilt! Looking at the scrap pile, I have a new love for orange in a quilt. I find myself trying to work those pieces in when possible.
