new and a giveaway….

I was so struck with beauty this morning when I walked my daughter to the bus stop.  I just had to share….

More wonderful fabric from the Intrepid Thread!!  Yummy!!!!  I started a project on Saturday, but I may change my original plan, is that okay??

Also on Saturday, dear friends of ours had a new baby boy!  Of course I wanted to make a quilt….however if you remember I had already given my baby boy quilt to my nephew, so I put this top together and took it to the quilter – hooray!!  I have always wanted to start and finish a top in a day.

So here is the giveaway for this week….scraps in Spring colors and some patterns from Fall Market…enjoy!!

That’s how it looks outside my window too. The difference is that here no school bus comes because all the schools are closed. It’s a southern thing that this Pittsburgh native just can’t get used to. Your spring scraps are lovely — I’d rather have spring than snow!
