Do you know this line? This is part of a fun new project I am working on…..
I finally decided to buy a ruffler foot…this is quite the contraption, but…
look what fun I had experimenting!! Do you have one?? What do you like about it?? Have any tips for me?
This week’s giveaway is Desert Daydreams….enjoy the day!
I love the ruffles. I wish I had a foot for my machine.
Love the ruffles and didn´t know there was a ruffle foot.
When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me to use the ruffler on her treadle sewing machine. We do not have one with our “new” machine. Suggestion: You probably already thought of this – looks like your ruffler has an adjustment for making pleats… A flat pleated addition to your lovely mug rugs might look really good.
I don’t have a ruffler foot; didn’t even know such a thing was available. Looks pretty cool though. Thanks for sharing and happpy sewing.
Your ruffles look great!!! It looks like you and the new foot are getting along great =D
Ruffle foot? Bet that’s easier than the tension/pulling the bobbin thread way I do ruffles! Have fun playing! Hey, is it just me, or do those little arrow-thingies look like the old “asteroids” game?
I’ve never tried that….I have one, but I’m intimidated. LOL I can’t wait to see what you do with your ruffles!
LOVE YOUR RUFFLES!
THANKS FOR SHARING!

I’ve never even heard of a ruffler foot! Geez, they think of everything don’t they?
I do not have a ruffler foot for my Husqvarna, but I do have an old handle driven singer and I am pretty sure there is something similar to this. Best go take a look.

I do have a ruffler foot for my Singer 401, but have not tried it yet, so sorry – no tips from me! 🙁
I don’t have a ruffled foot, but it looks like a lot of fun. I don’t recognize the fabric but it is very pretty.
Ut-oh! I have a ruffler foot, and have never used it — but after seeing your ruffles, I guess I had better take it out and play! I have seen such cute modern aprons with ruffles…
I have a variety of feet for my machine, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard of a “ruffler foot”! Thanks for chance to win! (marshudson at comcast dot net)
I’ve never heard of a ruffler!! I’d be glad of some more information!!
Raffler foot was a new one for me. Wonder if Janome have one?
don’t have one but it would be fun to try
I have a foot, but I don’t use it very often. It is great if you are doing a lot of ruffles.
I just bought one, too. Have only played with it. Will do something with it later.
I have been thinking about one lately.. u will have to tell me all about it in KC
Do not forget to write down the ruffler settings for the different types of ruffles that you like. This is a great help when you are in a hurry!
I recognize Flock, for sure! I don’t have a ruffle foot, I have tried ruffling the old fashioned way by pulling thread at the end of the row with moderate success. You’ll have to keep us posted as to how it all goes!
Ooh, new toy! I jsut saw some ruffled dish towels today– fantastic when they’re done right! Good luck trying yours out 🙂
