Every once in awhile do you ponder a different direction or idea?? Do you get tempted with texture??
Do you wonder what if?? Should I move in a different direction??
I have been out on field trips lately – my term for visiting my local quilt shop!! What fun do you spy?? What would you make with these?? Any guesses as to my new direction??
The giveaway for the week….I will tell you I added another piece after I took this picture…see anything fun?? Happy Sewing!
SO much fun in that little pile….I might make a bib or a taggie for my niece with the minky and chenile!

It looks like you’re going to be making baby things…how fun. =)
I spy some terrycloth…I think!
I spy some fun ruffles! And the birdies are too sweet — (too tweet, if you’re in the mood for a bad pun on a Monday morning).
More great fabric!
I love the birds and the multi coloured dots!
Thanks Brooke!
What a sweet little hexie print…and the soft greens <3. I made some taggie blocks for my great nephew for Christmas with some minky, I think his sister snatched them away 😉
Would love to play with those
I love all the minky textures. Sweet children’s’ prints too. Someone having a baby?
Looks to me like you’ll be making things for babies. Fun!
I see lots of fun stuff! The birds are adorable.
The dots and birds are so sweet:)
The minkie looks so soft and always love me some dots!
I have never worked with textured fabric before but it does look fun. I would love to see a quilt in the gorgeous owl fabric with a cuddly backing. I spy lots of lovely aqua fabric, I always notice my favourite colour. Thanks for sharing.

I spot a little terry cloth in there?? Maybe some bibs and/or burp cloths coming up? Love those fabrics, especially for a new baby!
Sure looks like a lovely snuggly there to me.

I see some very pretty pastel fabrics!! Now you have me thinking that your new direction is to make things for babies… cozy blankets, stuffed animal shaped toys… am I close??!!
I think you will be making things for the little ones..such fun, happy and cuddly fabrics! Happy Sewing.
HI Brooke! I love the colors with the stripes and flowers. Hey, that giraffe growth chart is amazing! You are so talented. Keep up the good work. I know you’ll make wonderful things, make what you love and see if it works for you. Blessings to you!
I love that fabric by Riley Blake! Her birds are too cute. It looks like you are making cute baby things. 🙂
Maybe baby things but I would make for toddlers/children. They too love these snuggly fabrics for blankets to snuggle up with and keep forever because someone special has made them. I know my kids and grandkids can’t seem to have enough blankets. Love the fabric choices!
I love the direction you are taking!!! I think baby items will be a great addition to your shop =D
I love the new direction you are taking – looking forward to seeing what you make!
Well, I am dying to know the new direction!
Love the new direction that your shop is taking!
Thanks for a chance to win the giveaway….love the polka dots and little birds!

I think you are making some really cute baby things. I would make some quilted bibs that I just saw a tutorial for.

I see minky and little fat colourful birds. I would love to see what I could create with these scraps.
Sorry I haven’t been by. It’s been a busy week, and I haven’t had time for any blog reading! I’m guessing you’re headed toward baby stuff! I love all the minky! I made a patchwork baby quilt one time, alternating flannel blocks with minky blocks. It was soooo cute! (And I made a matching minky bear to go with it). But sewing minky and flannel together is kind of a bear.
