hello Wednesday!

Happy New Year!

at my house…yesterday was the first day back to work and school…so I enjoyed some quiet time..ahhhhh…now don’t get me wrong, I loved having them all home, but by Monday it was time to get back into our regular routine…

I am still in the Christmas sewing mode, so I am remaking all of the Christmas items I either sold or used as gifts…
this advent calendar is one of them…

    What discipline you have to continue with your Christmas fabrics! I have one Grinch panel that I want to make into a modern styled lap quilt but it’s languishing in a pile for now.

    Those fabrics are so fun, both what you are working on and the giveaway ones;) I too have still been in the Christmas/winter sewing mood, however I haven’t quite done it, I am still working on some UFO’s.

    I aspire to sew lettering like the Merry Christmas…I guess the old adage practice makes perfect is true! The florals are a bright spot for a rainy winter day. Love the Little Azalea, Delphine! Pretty combination of colors.

    The red and green fabrics are beautiful…but my Christmas quilt I didn’t finish will wait until closer to Christmas. I love the florals….and now am gushing on some valentine fabrics!

    Those reds and greens are bright and happy… But the colorful, sunny floral fabrics are just what a “freezing cold” quilter needs, to “think spring” on a minus 4 degree F night!!
