sewing once again

hello Monday!

well….slowly but surely I am finding my new normal…

our summer was full to brim with three of my four kids home and then taking my two college-age kids to college and enjoying a lovely family vacation….now we have one left at home…

sewing again

so this weekend, I pulled back out my baby quilt project using these adorable animals from savannah fabric line….

sewing again

this is where the project is so far….not quite sure how I want to move forward….so I decided to sew borders around the small animals and see what inspires me…

sewing again

our goal this fall is to get out on the many biking trails not too far from our home each weekend…so fun!

Happy Sewing!

Nice to get out and about for sure. We are stuck in the house with very heavy smoke from the fires. I envy you guys to be out doors. Even our little dog Ginger has cabin fever. Love your start on the baby quilt. That was such fun fabric.

Good to see you back blogging, Brooke! I’m sure you enjoyed the summer with your family home, but are now getting used to the calm too! I just finished a quilt using a Savannah jelly roll. I was a bit unsure of the color combination, but it turned out great. Your baby quilt with animals is perfect for this fabric collection.
