hello Wednesday!
this week I decided to jump into this boy scout project…
I decided that the first step should be to sort the patches according to size…
oh my…there are a lot of patches!!
I decided to cut some squares out of navy blue Kona and sew some patches on these…
I thought they could represent the boy scout uniform…
and then I decided to order two Kona colors that mirror the scout leader uniform to use as a base for the others…
linking up with Lorna…
and the giveaway for today…
leave me a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!

The patches will show up so well on the navy blue Kona!
Your project is shaping up nicely! Love seeing the process. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
I missed 2 weeks of posting…one with my computer down, then last week Wednesday was wacky!
That’s the greatest idea to make a quilt from boy/Girl Scout patches! I have all my old Girl Scout patches from the 60’s, but not nearly enough to make a quilt. But a little Mini Quilt would be neat. Now, where do have those those patches packed away……????
My dad was on the Boy Scout council. I can’t wait to see how this comes out!
ANOTHER one I’m going to have to add to my list of “to do”
Looking forward to seeing the Boyscout quilt completed.
The patches will show up so well on the navy blue Kona!
Great ideas for the patches. Can wait to see what’s next with them!
