I looked up ribbon color meanings and my guess is Gold for childhood cancer, and orange for Leukemia. If so, it sounds like he could really use that superhero cape. A 11 yr. old family friend in my daughter’s class also has leukemia. I’ll pray for them together, if I got the meanings right. and as usual lovely fabric scraps! I love the white with pink flowers.

Love the cape- I’m most familiar with that ribbon representing childhood cancer. Having worked with hospitalized children I know they can exude more strength than many can even imagine and this cape will help him tap into that! Awesome scraps this week!!

The cape is really special and will hold super powers. I’m guessing childhood cancer also and leukemia. Our 20 yr old niece is a 4 year survivor of leukemia. She had a special quilt we made to help her through the chemo. In the scraps I spy the blue with white circles that would fit right in the quilt I am working on.
