Have you seen quilted pieces like these?? I have thought and thought about them….
so you start by sewing some charm squares together with a border….
using this Twister tool, you cut out squares…
here they are put back together on my design wall….
one row sewn together…
quilted and trimmed, just needs some binding. Love, love this adorable little project. You can make it as big or small as you like. May have to try another one…
Here is the giveaway for this week….what do you spy??? Have a great day!

So cute! I love seeing quilts made with the twister ruler. They look so fun.

The twister is so cute! I see some Good Fortune 🙂
Beautiful! I’ve got to try that!
I’ve never seen twister projects, but this is so neat!
Fun! Wonder who invented that process? Do you think it was intentional, or maybe it came to life out of a mistake? However it came to be, it’s a really neat idea!
I’ve done a bunch of twister projects — so quick and fun! And I’m always thrilled with the results. Love your stack of fabrics — looks like a bit of Good Fortune on top. Yum!
Amazing!!! Oh my gosh!! I love the way the breakfast mat turned out!! I may need to try this!!
Love seeing the process – and the finish is so cute! I have that Twister on my wish list. LOL Would love to win those pretties!
I’ve seen the twister but have not tried it.
You make it look so much fun and I do love my twister.
I love the colours! Is the Twister available in the UK??
I spy Good Fortune on top, but I don’t know the other fabrics.
love those colors
I spy some Carina Gardner, something from Riley Blake, and on the top, Kate Spain’s Good Fortune. Not sure what else in that stack!
I spy some Good Fortune on top and great reds along with dots and stripes — all lovely fabrics! Some pieces are upside down… is there Verona, Ruby, Dainty Blossoms, and Vintage Modern in that pile (read your labels for the post).
I love the look of the Twister quilts but I would be petrfied to mess things up in the cutting process – maybe I would try something small like your project, a mug rug!
Oh and I spy Good Fortune – love that fabric!!!

I love it. I went to buy it the other day and got sidetracked. May need to go back. 🙂 I spy Good Fortune!
I spy Harmony fan from Good Fortune by Kate Spain for Moda on top. Then some I can’t tell, then the gray is from the Verona Line (Riley Blake). The rest of the pile is Dainty Blossoms by Carina Gardner for Riley Blake.
I spy some good fortune and some other goodies that I don’t know the names of.
