twisting hello darling and daysail + giveaway

hello Monday!
started any new projects for 2016??
twist blocks
if you remember…back in the late fall, my bestie visited..
toward the end of the visit, we knocked out these blocks…
but then in the flurry of activity they have been sitting in my studio…
twist blocks
this weekend I decided to pull them out and begin playing with my arrangement idea…
these blocks have two different grey backgrounds…from Blush and Bloom
twist blocks
I am hoping to achieve a loose color graduated feel…
twist blocks
where you see the empty squares…I am planning on adding solid squares of grey…
twist blocks
oh I like this…
what do you think??

giveaway
and the fabric scrap giveaway for the week…

I like your blocks, too, and the idea of the solid blocks. The black and white scraps and the pink on slate blue appeal to my taste.

Love what you’re doing with your blocks! The scraps look lovely, the large scale floral really caught my eye.

I haven’t started anything new with the new year, but I’ve pulled out my old projects that I put away to make Christmas presents. It’s nice to do a little bit of “me” sewing again!
