wedding quilt progress – wip – link up! + giveaway

hello Wednesday!

wedding quilt
so…this past week while my bestie was visiting, we worked on this wedding quilt project…

wedding quilt
we decided on a variety of size square in a square blocks…now, granted that made the layout more complicated than if we had used a pattern or stayed with fewer sizes…

wedding quilt
but I really love how this is turning out…
and Donna is awesome in helping to put a project like this together with her amazing math skills!

The wedding quilt is amazing. I can imagine the challenge with using different sizes though it exemplifies marriage right, two different people entering into a lifelong relationship bring varied backgrounds to the union. It is fun to see this quilt as it comes together.

I’ve made square in square blocks, but never thought to put various sizes together in one quilt. I love what you’ve done! There is so much added interest with the variety of sizes and colors! What fun to make it with a friend too!
