Have you ever sewn with one of these?? Long ago, I used to….this week at the advice of a dear friend, I bought a pattern to assist me in finishing a custom project. You see, I need to make a pillow sham.
I am ever so thankful that my Mom taught me how to sew with these….Thanks Mom!!
Ta Dah!! The finished product – love, love it!!! The pattern just made it so much simplier than measuring this and measuring that…so one more project checked off the list! Now onto…..Happy Sewing and if you are a mom – Happy Mother’s Day weekend!!

I used patterns when my mom was teaching me to sew as a teenager. I hated them and have managed to avoid them in the 2 1/2 years since I started sewing again. But I have purchased a couple and may just break them out someday. 🙂 The pillow looks great!
