Does life ever seem to get away from you??
Sometime…due to deadlines or my own doing….
my cutting table begins to look like this…
it was time for a major putting away…organizing time!!
I was also motivated by a visit with my bestie….
if you have been around here for awhile, then you know about once a year, my bestie comes for a visit and we have our own personal sewing retreat! Awesome!!
I thought it would be grand to start with a clean slate…
I scheduled a tune up for my sewing machine too…
well…the clean table didn’t last long…
On our way home from the airport…we made a stop at one of my local quilt shops….what do you think??

The room where I sew looks like a bomb went off…now to actually do something. Today, I’m making a valiant effort to cut!
I have to sew at my kitchen table so everything always gets put away afterwards. I would love to have a sewing room though, then I could leave it and go back to it whenever I wanted. Enjoy your week. x

It’s nice to have a clean space to start with and get to mess it up all over again! Love the fabrics, and the fact they were packed in a paper bag!
