polka dot binding and a giveaway…

Remember this adorable baby quilt??  I thought I would share finished pictures with you.
The yellow polka dot fabric was the binding request from the client…
One tip I followed and I would recommend….don’t trim the back until you sew on the binding.
Since stretchy minky fabric was the back, it was a great tip to follow!  Over the weekend this quilt was presented at the baby shower for the little boy coming from Ethiopia….hope they all love it!!
The giveaway this week….there is some fun, fun fabrics in here!!  What do you see??  Happy Sewing!

Thanks for the tip! I want to use minky as a backing, but I haven’t tried it yet. Love this little quilt, so balanced and yet offset. Now, you almost stumped me! I see something that looks like Basic Grey Grunge, and a little Posie charm pack, and some fabulous numbers fabric that looks like it has a fingerpaint background– fun!
