I love putting the binding onto the quilt, putting in the last stitch on the back after sitting hand sewing for a while is so satisfying. x

Very interesting quirky fabric pile today! I am especially intrigued by the koala bear? sloth? hanging on the branches!

Pretty peeks at your quilts. Also, that is one fancy rotary cutter!

Oh, fun! I had some of that cute cookie cutter fabric, because it reminded me of making cookies with my grandmother, but it sat in my stash for too long and I ended up making pillowcases for our local Domestic Abuse Shelter. Which was the right thing to do, of course–someone should be made happy with that darling fabric–but I did feel a twinge over never making something for myself with it. There’s probably a lesson there…

Can’t wait to see the completed t-shirt quilt. After your nephew receives it, will you be showing it to the rest of us?

The T-shirt quilt is a great idea. I’m thinking of all my old T-shirt hidden in the closet….
