hello Wednesday!
cultivating quilting friends is always a good thing…
I have a local friend who graciously dropped off this bin of felted wool pieces for me to use in mittens!
so I found this colorful piece to pair with this charcoal sweater…
using this wool as an accent instead of the fleece I have been using…
makes for a different look and a bit bulkier for sewing…so glad I use my walking foot when making these!
linking up with Lorna…
and for the giveaway…
I thought some floral prints would be just the ticket to brighten a winter day…
leave me a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
Love the accent on the mittens! Gosh, I can’t remember the last time I wore mittens. May have to find some now!
Mittens keep my hands warmer than gloves.
What a cute idea, I have not seen sewn mittens like this before and the printed wool makes them really cute. Don’t enter me in your drawing, I have too much fabric now, LOL!!
what a sweet friend. your mittens are lovely. these fabrics do brighten my day. It is 11 degrees and snowing right now. hope you had a good New Years weekend and that your New Year is full of blessings, laughter and family
Those fabrics are beautiful! And I tried mittens once and quit – yours look much nicer!

Cute mittens! Also pretty florals.
The mittens are so pretty. Floral prints are a good contrast to the winter weather. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.

I like your mittens you have made! Motivating me to go through the old sweaters!!
The accented mittens look great – they really look like something you would have to buy at a store. Quality
