making mittens – wip link up! + giveaway

hello Wednesday!

making mittens
cultivating quilting friends is always a good thing…
I have a local friend who graciously dropped off this bin of felted wool pieces for me to use in mittens!

making mittens
so I found this colorful piece to pair with this charcoal sweater…

making mittens
using this wool as an accent instead of the fleece I have been using…
makes for a different look and a bit bulkier for sewing…so glad I use my walking foot when making these!

What a cute idea, I have not seen sewn mittens like this before and the printed wool makes them really cute. Don’t enter me in your drawing, I have too much fabric now, LOL!!
