savannah quilt top

hello Monday!

almost a quilt top

so this is where I last left you with my Savannah quilt project….

savannah quilt top

I finished sewing the blocks into a quilt top….but….

savannah quilt project

I decided to add some borders to make this a bit nicer size…I used wider strips on the sides than the top and bottom…now to quilt it…but that is for another day…

Happy Sewing!

ps – so…I wanted to let you all know that I am going to change up my blog posting….I will try and get at least one post done a week…I have been working part-time outside the home and just don’t sew as much as I used to…I still enjoy blogging, so I am not ready to quit. I count each of you as friends and would miss our “visits” if I stopped blogging…

Love the borders! This has turned in to a very cute quilt!

I thought it was just summer interfering with your blogging. Hope the job is something you enjoy. That makes it easier to go!

I really like how this one turned out. It is calm and sweet. We all need to take time to do what is best for our self. I hope your job goes well for you. My life has been way to busy lately and I have missed not commenting on you posts. Thanks though for responding to my last comment. I am of course glad to hear about Carrie’s new line. I have been working on a quilt made with her Story line. The one in the Look Book by Quilt Dad. Yes the one with the 200 houses! Will I every get it done?? Good question! It would be fun to add a couple pieces of a new line in here and there. Best of luck with the job and I look forward to when you do have time to blog.
